Tento výučbový materiál popisuje optické siete – optické prístupové siete, technológie FTTx,
aktívne a pasívne optické siete, optické systémy s vlnovým multiplexovaním - DWDM
a CWDM. Uvádza základné parametre a pracovné režimy optických sietí, vrátane problematiky
údržby siete (OTDR, zváranie) a obnovy signálu (EDFA, SOA, Ramanov zosilňovač,
potlačenie disperzie).
