Abstract

This course focuses on the topic of cybersecurity in the context of multimedia. It includes a description of the specifics of multimedia in relation to other digital content, multimedia services, accompanying technologies, activities and their purpose, copyright protection systems. It deals with specific vulnerabilities of multimedia and their examples. It focuses more closely on the principles of DRM, watermarking, non-fungible tokens and especially the area of deepfakes, i.e. intentional fake content and the principles of its detection. It deals in more detail with selected types of deepfakes based on face swapping and voice cloning.
