Abstract
This course focuses on digital watermarking techniques used for protecting and authenticating multimedia content. It covers fundamental principles, classification of watermarking methods, and their implementation in both spatial and frequency domains. The study extends to advanced techniques such as hybrid and reversible watermarking, which balance robustness and imperceptibility. A key aspect of the course is analyzing the resilience of watermarking techniques against various attacks, including compression, cropping, and geometric distortions. Additionally, the course explores real-world applications in copyright protection, forensic analysis, and digital content verification. By examining both theoretical foundations and practical implementations, learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of how digital watermarking contributes to multimedia security in an increasingly digital world.
