Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) ist ein nächster Schritt in der Entwicklung mobiler Dienste. Die LTE-Technologie basiert auf Standards der 3GPP-Assoziation und bietet Übertragungsraten von bis zu 150 Mbit/s in der Downlink-Richtung und bis zu 50 Mbit/s in der Uplink-Richtung. Feste drahtlose Standards und Standards für Festnetze erreichen Übertragungsraten von bis zu 100 Mbit/s. LTE stellt eine Möglichkeit dar, mobile Kommunikation mit solch hohen Datenübertragungsraten zu betreiben.
