Abstract
Las conexiones VDSL2 y G.fast están diseñadas para ofrecer nuevos servicios a través de pares
de cobre simétricos y de fibra óptica en el acceso a las redes de telecomunicaciones. Las
conexiones VDSL2 siguen la antigua tecnología ADSL y traen al suscriptor velocidades de
transmisión más altas. Además, la simetría y la optimización de velocidades de transmisión de
subida y de bajada están permitidas. Hoy en día las conexiones VDSL2 y G.fast son los últimos
pasos evolutivos en tecnologías xDSL y su aplicación para acceder a las redes de
telecomunicaciones son también parte de los conceptos de redes FTTx
